IA can be used for many things, but the results, in particular when it comes to interpreting and subtitling, is still very hit-and-miss.

A translator/subtitler can hear nuances such as tone of voice,  can understand play on words, idioms, whereas IA cannot. And IA cannot cope well with accents. A human is more equipped to do so.

We've all seen subtitles that didn't make sense at some point, whether on a YouTube video or a streaming series. That was usually the result of using IA. It will probably be sophisticated enough one day to be used constantly, but that's in the future.

In the meantime, to assure accuracy, put your trust in a human.
